The Irene Dramatic Society (IDS) is an amateur theatre group based in Pretoria, South Africa.
The society has been running for over fifty years and aims to give community members the opportunity to get involved in the wonderful world of theatre. Over the years IDS has successfully staged a range of productions including comedies, dramas, musicals, and one-act plays
We encourage anyone with an interest in participating, whether on stage or behind the curtain, to join us. All experience levels are welcome.
Note that as an amateur group none of our actors or crew are paid – we do this because we love it and hope you will too.
