Editorial
I have a confession to make, which is, I lost a month. I was working on this website at work and somehow I lost a whole month. But IDS didn't so here's some stuff for all of you interesting people. Enjoy.South Pacific
Hope y'all enjoyed South Pacific I certainly did. Congrats to Gayle and Alet on a job well done, as well as to the cast and crew. Hope to see those involved again in LOTS more shows, maybe even in the next one.Coarser
We are proud to present our latest comedy offering, "Coarser" which is a crazy romp through the world of amateur theatre. It's all there - prima donnas, bewildered actors, wild miscastings, set mishaps and lunatic back stage staff - and that's just the first five minutes!A followup to "Acting Coarse," this show is another batch of coarse acting madness, and is sure to be even faster, louder, funnier and more enjoyable than last time.
So if you want to be in it, and you DO want to be in it, then make sure you're at the auditions on Sunday 27 May at 2PM at Irene Homes. If you cannot make it, but wish to be in the show, contact Adrian on 082-371-5488, or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to arrange another audition time.
Show dates will be 27,28 August and 4,5 September and the show will be performed in the Irene Village Hall.
Note that auditions are at Irene Homes, and show at Irene Village Hall.

And since we all enjoyed watching South Pacific, and singing along, we've put together a chance for all of us to sing. Even (especially) those like myself who can only hit a note if it's tied down and well sedated. The De Groot brothers are putting together an evening of karaoke for us to take place on 25 June 2010. Who are the De Groot brothers? Shame on you for asking? More details to be sent out later.
Interweb link of the month
For normal web searches like kryolan, dating, spanish restaurants or fish with big lips you could use Google, Bing or Baidu. But sometimes you want information that's actually useful, like converting from feet to metres, or the average rainfall in Johannesburg, or draw a graph of a scientific formula, or get chemical information of some drug or see the history of the Rand / Dollar exchange rate over the last 10 years or many other things in fact for anything with a fixed answer you can try this website. It only can give you facts and nothing but the facts. Browse this site, it's really cool.http://www.wolframalpha.com/
